Raffaele Rinaldi

Under a glass bell – Sotto una campana di vetro

This photograph was even used as a poster for an exhibition by Raffaele Rinaldi held in Palermo. It is a conceptual photograph very dear to the artist that describes personal facts, such as the risk of not living life to the fullest for fear of life itself. Inside the bell, an eighteenth-century lady with ancient fabric flowers. The hairstyle, at the author’s request, was created by hair stylist Alice Fiumarelli, using central padding with wadding.

“I have always photographed my dreams, not reality”.

Original: 52.5 x 70 cm, original work limited to 15 copies worldwide, numbered, signed and with certificate of authenticity. Printed on museum quality paper and certified inks to ensure ultra-centenary durability.
